About me
Our enthusiasm decreased as time dragged on and it seemed increasingly improbable that we would find our dream home anytime in the foreseeable future. We became more and more resigned and, over time, we became more willing to compromise our desires in any way possible just to end the process.
We couldn’t understand why it was so complicated.
Subtly and intelligently she mapped out our true needs and desires, some of which we ourselves were not fully aware of. Feeling that she had a good idea of what we really wanted, she began to deal with our personal needs.
Two weeks later, she called us to say there was something she thought would be good for us.
The moment we entered the house, my husband’s gaze went from a casual observation to an intense concentration.
What happened was only understood in hindsight.
My husband is an American and the seller of the house lived in United States for 35 years, and the importance of this was the reminder of the house he built after he was repatriated. There was something about the American open concept style and large spaces that made my husband feel at home.
This elemental need for spacious areas became so deeply ingrained in him that he felt only the absence of something but could not quite articulate what it was until he re-entered such a space. And, of course, we might have figured it out on our own sooner or later, but for my part, I was very grateful that the solution was so simple and quick, with a specialist who could easily map out our needs in a quick and professional manner.
